This page is intended to satisfy the App Store privacy policy URL requirement for PokerTells. It can be expanded later if legal or product requirements change.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use PokerTells, we may process account identifiers, subscription status, gameplay progress, streaks, puzzle attempts, and app-generated content needed to deliver training features and keep your progress in sync across sessions. We may also collect limited analytics events (for example app opens and coarse usage signals) to understand reliability and engagement.
How we use information
We use data to operate the app, restore purchases, maintain your training history, improve content delivery, and troubleshoot app issues. We do not use your information for unrelated purposes without updating this policy.
Camera, photos, and on-device content
PokerTells delivers pre-authored training content. The app is not designed to capture live table photos or video from your camera or photo library for upload and server-side analysis. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details accordingly.
Automated processing and AI
Features such as scoring, coaching copy, and difficulty adjustments may use automated logic inside the app. We do not use your personal gameplay or account data to train third-party or publicly distributed machine learning models.
Payments and subscriptions
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your full credit card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials; Apple handles payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy. We may store subscription entitlement or membership state (for example whether premium access is active) so the app can unlock the correct features.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers only when necessary to host the app, sync user progress, process subscription status, or operate analytics on our behalf.
Retention
We keep data for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate PokerTells, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Account and data deletion
If you create an account, you can delete your account and associated data from within the app: open the Progress tab and use Delete Account. That action removes your account and app-associated records tied to it on our systems, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention windows. Deleting the app from your device does not by itself delete your server-side account. Active subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID; cancel or change them in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions as needed. If you cannot use in-app deletion, email support (below) and we will assist.
Your choices
You can stop using the app at any time, manage subscriptions through your Apple account, delete your account as described above, or contact us for privacy questions.
